The new CD of the TIMOFEYEV ENSEMBLE, with guest artists PSOY KOROLENKO, and ANAT PICK has just been released!
This is the first of TIMOFEYEV ENSEMBLE’s albums that consists mainly of compositions by the ensemble’s participants. We were fortunate to be joined by ANAT PICK, a remarkable voice artist from Israel, and by PSOY KOROLENKO, one of the boldest performers of Moscow independent scene. Also participating are the magnificent Russian-Roma (Gypsy) guitarist Vadim Kolpakov, and Ivan Nikolaieff, who was one of very few players of the Russian guitar in France. (Unfortunately, Ivan lost his battle with cancer a few months after this recording was completed.)

***NEW RELEASE***: The Lviv Lute (2011)
With this exciting new release, Oleg has returned to his roots as a lutenist! Just out from Dorian/Sono Luminus, this CD is based on the Lviv Lute Tablature (17th century), but adds Ukrainian folk styles, instruments, and singing to effect a vision of what might have happened when Renaissance lutenists got together and with their colleagues in Ukraine. A mysterious and energetic CD full of musical surprises!
